Frequently Asked Questions

How do I buy your jewellery?

Apologies, I don't have an e-commerce site at the moment, so you cannot purchase directly from here, but you can contact me from here, or on Facebook or Instagram and let me know what you would like to buy.

Otherwise, I do sell a selection of my jewellery at the following locations:

Which payment methods do you accept?

When ordered direct through the website, I usually ask for a PayPal payment or BACs transfer.  I send the details once you have made the order.  If you are local or I meet you at a craft fair I have a card machine.

Do you work on commission pieces?

Not always.  It depends on the request and how much time I have available.  Please do get in touch and I'll let you know if I can help.

What’s the best way to care for my silver?

I would always use a silver polishing cloth.  I would recommend a Town Talk cloth.

Do the prices include postage and packaging?

No, they don't.  I find that customers like different types of postage (first class, second class, recorded delivery), so I always discuss this before sending a package, and the cost is added to the total.

What type of silver do you use, and is it recycled?

I used recycled fine silver (999) in many of my studs and some of my pendants. I used a lot of recycled 925 sterling silver in my designs too, although I do also have some silver that is not recycled.

925 sterling silver fine chains and 925 sterling silver ear stud posts are not recycled, as I have not yet found a supplier who offers these.

If it's not clear on the page, or you would like something made completely of recycled materials, please let me know.

Do you use recycled packaging?  And can it be recycled?

All of the cards that I mount my jewellery on are made from recycled card and can be recycled.

If you receive one of my jewellery boxes, these are made from recycled card, which is recyclable, and the insert is also recycled.

My little jewellery bags are handmade from reclaimed fabric, which can be recycles with a fabric recycler.
